Job summary

Judson Group in Carmel, Indiana is seeking an SVP, Lead Wealth Advisor to join an established wealth management practice with a 35+ high-net-worth client base. You will take ownership of relationships, deliver sophisticated financial planning, and guide clients through investments, tax, estate, and retirement strategies while mentoring junior advisers.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience serving high-net-worth clients in wealth management or financial planning.
  • CFP® designation or other advanced wealth management credential strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and families, delivering personalized wealth management and comprehensive financial planning strategies.
  • Take ownership of an established client base while cultivating lasting relationships built on trust and exceptional service.
  • Develop sophisticated planning recommendations across investments, retirement, tax strategies, estate planning, charitable giving, education funding, lending, and cash flow management.
  • Lead client meetings, present thoughtful recommendations, and guide clients through important financial decisions.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and proactively adjust strategies based on goals and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with investment professionals, attorneys, accountants, and other outside advisors to deliver integrated planning.
  • Prepare financial plans, investment proposals, and customized presentations for existing and prospective clients.
  • Oversee client service activities to ensure a seamless, high-touch experience from onboarding through ongoing relationship management.

Judson Group is proud to partner with a nationally recognized wealth management, retirement advisory, and business management firm that helps individuals, families, business owners, and institutions make confident financial decisions in its search for an SVP, Lead Wealth Advisor to join its Carmel, Indiana office.

This is an opportunity to immediately step into an established client base of 35 plus HNW/UHNW clients to start, take on new clients coming into the growing firm, and work alongside a highly collaborative team with great resources. We’re looking for a polished advisor with 10+ years of experience leading relationships. There is an immediate equity opportunity.

  • Collaborate closely with investment professionals, attorneys, accountants, and other outside advisors to deliver integrated planning solutions.
  • Prepare financial plans, investment proposals, and customized presentations for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Oversee client service activities, ensuring a seamless and high-touch experience from onboarding through ongoing relationship management.
  • Expand existing relationships through referrals, community involvement, and strategic networking with local COIs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience serving high-net-worth clients within a wealth management or financial planning environment.
  • CFP® designation or other advanced wealth management credential strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to grow a practice while becoming the next leader of a highly respected office.
  • A relationship-driven advisor who excels at building trust and delivering thoughtful, comprehensive planning advice.
  • Strong understanding of investment management, retirement planning, tax planning, estate strategies, insurance, and complex financial planning concepts.
  • Very Competitive base salary + bonus structure. Guaranteed compensation level while slowly converting a revenue based payout on top of base salary to allow for further compensation growth.
