Job summary

Tiro Security seeks a SVP, IT Risk Management & Compliance to lead enterprise risk efforts for a large banking organization. You will partner with technology, cybersecurity and internal audit to strengthen risk identification, assessment and remediation across a highly regulated environment.

Based in Greater Los Angeles or Dallas, Texas, you will own risk programs, report to executive leadership, drive regulatory alignment with FFIEC, NIST and COBIT, and shape risk strategy while guiding a lean

• Extensive IT risk management and compliance experience within large banking or financial services organizations.
• Strong first-line technology risk experience, including risk assessments, control design, implementation and remediation.
• Deep knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and frameworks, including FFIEC, NIST, COBIT and the Cyber Risk Institute (CRI) Profile.
• Experience managing technology risk programs, control assessments, regulatory examinations and audit remediation.
• Proven ability to partner with technology, cybersecurity, compliance and internal audit teams to improve risk management practices.
• Strong leadership and executive communication skills, with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in a lean team.

We’re partnering with a large banking organization that is seeking an experienced technology risk leader to strengthen its enterprise IT risk management and compliance capabilities.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within the first line of defense, working closely with technology and cybersecurity teams to identify, assess, and manage risk across a complex, highly regulated environment.

What we’re looking for
