Responsibilities

  • Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise financial planning processes.
  • Partner with the CFO, C-suite, and Board on strategic planning, profitability, cash flow, capital efficiency, and investment decisions.
  • Provide financial support for M&A, capital planning, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain dynamic forecasting models incorporating scenario planning, predictive analytics, and operational drivers.
  • Develop performance monitoring and KPI frameworks to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
  • Lead the evolution of FP&A technology, including planning systems, BI tools, dashboards, and decision-support solutions.
  • Drive automation, process improvement, and digital transformation across FP&A.
  • Leverage AI/ML and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, profitability analysis, and decision support.
  • Integrate FP&A data and analytics with broader enterprise analytics functions.
  • Manage relationships with technology providers, including contracts, implementation, and procurement requirements.
  • Build, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary FP&A and finance business partnering teams.
  • Establish governance and controls around analytics, reporting, forecasting, and decision-support processes.

Job description

A leading financial services organization is seeking a senior FP&A executive to lead financial planning, forecasting, strategic decision support, and business performance management. Reporting directly to the CFO, this leader will oversee a high-performing FP&A organization and partner closely with the C-suite and Board on strategic planning, profitability, capital allocation, investment evaluation, M&A, and enterprise performance.

The role will lead the continued evolution of FP&A into a highly analytical, technology-enabled decision support function. This includes building dynamic forecasting and scenario-planning capabilities, leveraging advanced analytics and AI/ML, improving management reporting, driving automation and process improvements, and integrating financial and operational data to generate actionable insights.
