The SVP, Enterprise Architecture will lead and manage the Information Technology Architecture team, driving the creation and implementation of enterprise-wide strategies. This role is a pivotal leadership role ensuring the alignment of technology solutions with Cenlar’s business goals, fostering innovation, and enhancing the organization's competitive advantage. This role reports to the Chief Information Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, drives, and executes the enterprise architecture strategy and solutions that aligns with Cenlar’s business objectives and technology roadmap
- Leads and mentors the IT Architecture team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
- Serves as the thought leader to the Chief Information Officer and IT leadership team as it pertains to enterprise architecture
- Leads the integration of various technology platforms and systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow
- Develops and implements data architecture frameworks and cloud architecture strategies, including migration plans, governance, optimization, accessibility, and security
- Collaborates with senior leadership, business units, and external partners to ensure the architecture strategy supports business needs and drives value
- Establishes and implements architecture standards and policies for consistency and compliance across the enterprise
- Identifies emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact and adoption on the enterprise and integrating them into the architecture strategy and roadmap
- Evaluates and mitigates risks associated with technology implementations and architectural decisions
- Monitors and reports on the performance of the architecture strategy, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes
- Ensures comprehensive documentation of architecture designs, standards, and processes for regulatory compliance
- Oversees the budget for the architecture team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Leads effective performance management and professional talent development across respective departments
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, including but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar’s reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- Ensure all activities are in accordance with Cenlar’s approved risk appetite statement and applicable compliance and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering field or equivalent work experience
- 12+ years of experience in information technology architecture with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills to develop mutually acceptable solutions utilizing available resources with diverse perspectives
- Visionary thinking with a passion for technology and innovation
- Knowledge of emerging technology architecture trends and developments in the area of architecture
