Job summary

Evrecruit.io seeks a Senior Vice President to own the enterprise applications portfolio, lead architecture and strategy, and partner with operations, finance and legal to deliver secure, scalable AI-enabled platforms.

This role drives modernization, digital self-service, integration and governance in a highly regulated, data-intensive industry, reporting to the CTO and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership with enterprise applications and senior teams.
• Demonstrated modernization, governance and architecture leadership in a scaled organization.
• Experience in a highly regulated, data-intensive environment.
• Track record translating strategy into roadmaps, investment cases and measurable benefits.
• Depth in cloud/SaaS integration, APIs, automation, data/AI products and cybersecurity by design.
• Proven vendor, contract, SLA and partner performance leadership.
• Investor-backed/board diligence or value creation exposure preferred.
• Bachelor degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Business; advanced degree or certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise application strategy and end-to-end delivery across customer/partner/employee/operational systems, including platform modernization and scalable integration.
• Lead disciplined intake, prioritization, capacity planning and benefits realization.
• Define target state architecture, standards, integration patterns and technical debt reduction.
• Partner with operations, commercial, finance, compliance and legal to translate strategy into demand and business cases.
• Oversee vendor and SI strategy, contract governance and total cost discipline.
• Build a high-performing application/architecture organization with clear accountability.
• Embed privacy, security, regulatory and vendor risk requirements into programs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Own the enterprise application portfolio, technology business partnership and enterprise architecture for a growing organization in a highly regulated, data-intensive industry. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this leader converts strategy into secure, scalable, AI-enabled capabilities that modernize platforms, strengthen delivery discipline and produce measurable business outcomes.

The mid-sized company is pursuing significant multi-year revenue growth while protecting margin, which requires building capacity and automation ahead of anticipated pricing pressure. The role leads application development, business partnership and enterprise architecture.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Enterprise application strategy and end-to-end delivery across customer-facing, partner-facing, employee-facing, employee facing and operational systems, including core platform modernization, digital self-service, workflow automation and scalable integration.
• Disciplined intake, prioritization, capacity planning and benefits realization, so initiatives deliver on time, in scope and against value creation goals.
• Target state enterprise and solution architecture, standards, integration patterns, rationalization and technical debt reduction.
• Primary technology partnership with operations, commercial, finance, compliance and legal, translating strategy into well-scoped demand, business cases and measurable outcomes.
• Vendor and systems integrator strategy, contract and SLA governance, delivery performance and total cost discipline.
• A high-performing application, business partner and architecture organization with clear accountability and succession depth.
• Privacy, security, regulatory and vendor risk requirements built into application and delivery programs.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 15 or more years of progressive technology leadership with substantial responsibility for enterprise applications, complex delivery portfolios and senior teams.
• Demonstrated application modernization, portfolio governance, business partnership and enterprise architecture leadership in a scaled, complex organization.
• Experience in a highly regulated, data-intensive operating environment.
• Track record translating enterprise strategy into sequenced roadmaps, investment cases, operating metrics and measurable benefits.
• Depth in cloud and SaaS integration, APIs, workflow automation, data and AI enabled products, cybersecurity by design and platform rationalization.
• Proven vendor, contract, SLA and partner performance leadership.
• Investor-backed, board, diligence or value creation plan exposure preferred.
• Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
