Job summary

Archer is collaborating with BNY to connect top professionals for the SVP – Cyber Technology Engineer role in New York City. You will design and scale enterprise data ingestion pipelines for cyber platforms, lead onboarding of data sources, and enable cloud-native, Kubernetes-based logging and observability across distributed systems.

You will work on modern data architectures, CI/CD, and DevOps practices while mentoring junior engineers and driving operational excellence in a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with systems coding/engineering focus.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms and modern data pipelines.
• Deep Kubernetes and containerized environments knowledge, including logging/observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and scale enterprise data ingestion pipelines for cyber platforms, including Splunk.
• Lead onboarding and integration of data sources across application, infrastructure, and cloud-native environments.
• Engineer and optimize ingestion mechanisms (HEC, forwarders, syslog, edge processing).
• Enable Kubernetes-based logging and observability across containerized environments.
• Integrate cyber data platforms with cloud services (Azure) and modern architectures.
• Improve data quality, normalization, and reliability across distributed systems.
• Drive automation, DevOps practices, and incident response improvements.
