Job summary

Guy Carpenter’s North American Strategic Advisory is seeking candidates for a role focused on catastrophe risk analytics and client advisory. You will perform catastrophe modeling projects, serve as the risk expert on account teams, and mentor junior colleagues while engaging directly with clients.

The position offers exposure to reinsurance decision-making, pricing support, and a broad risk management skill set within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience with various catastrophe models.
  • Knowledge of data storage and manipulation tools such as MS SQL, Alteryx, Python, R.
  • Ability to lead the catastrophe analytics as a part of our account teams.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the reinsurance industry.

  • Support GC broking operations by performing the catastrophe risk analytics necessary for reinsurance evaluation, decision-making, and placement.
  • To act in an advisory fashion directly with our clients, in a wide range of areas.
  • Develop a broad set of skills in risk management and the reinsurance industry.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $235,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $250,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
