Job description

The Finance Acctg Sr. Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays updated on the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their role and the business. Typically, they are among a small number of experts at this level within the organization. Excellent communication skills are essential for negotiating at senior levels, and developed diplomacy skills are needed to guide, influence, and convince colleagues and external customers. They are accountable for significant business results or providing authoritative advice on business operations and have responsibility over technical strategy. This role primarily impacts a sub-function and involves staff management, including resource allocation within the team or project.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support management and control of data flows within Finance applications to ensure data integrity and completeness, including preparing and recording financial transactions for legal and regulatory reporting, updating the general ledger, and preparing consolidated financial statements, including specialized accounting such as equity compensation, securitization, payroll, and investment accounting.
  2. Advise on strategic direction by analyzing relevant subject matter across multiple business lines.
  3. Define and implement policies and procedures.
  4. Serve as a technical authority guiding significant business and product decisions.
  5. Oversee financial and management reporting, planning, and analysis.
  6. Review key controls for accounting processes across various businesses.
  7. Partner with stakeholders including legal entity managers, BSCG, GPL, and GPO across locations, communicating strategy and action plans.
  8. Demonstrate understanding of how multiple processes integrate to achieve business goals.
  9. Impact leadership in multiple processes through responsible delivery of results.
  10. Ensure adherence to procedures and contribute to standard setting.
  11. Provide assurance and collaborate with audit teams to monitor controls and accounting accuracy.
  12. Use communication and diplomacy to guide and influence colleagues and external customers.
  13. Assess risks in business decisions, considering the firm's reputation, compliance with laws, and ethical standards, escalating issues as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA, CPA, or equivalent
  • 10+ years in accounting management with stakeholder management experience
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred

This position supports Branded Card partnerships, overseeing accounting and reporting controls over partnership financial results and contract obligations.

Location: Irving, TX and Wilmington, DE

Salary Range: $144,480 to $216,720; Full-time salary range: $163,600 to $245,400
