Job summary

Capstone LLC, a policy intelligence and investment advisory firm, seeks a Senior Vice President for Aerospace and Defense to lead commercial due diligence engagements for PE sponsors and corporate clients. This role is client-facing and central to Capstone’s growth in the A&D practice.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years in A&D consulting or related fields, deep policy fluency, and a track record of translating regulatory complexity into actionable investment strategy while mentoring

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in aerospace/defense consulting, investment banking, PE, corporate strategy, or related transaction advisory.
• Demonstrated ability to translate policy and regulatory complexity into commercial implications for investors.
• Excellent presentation and data visualization skills and ability to deliver decision-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy and regulatory analysis across the A&D sector for public markets, PE, and corporate clients.
• Lead commercial due diligence engagements on aerospace, defense, space, and national security targets for PE and institutional clients.
• Monitor programmatic and regulatory developments and flag risks/opportunities to clients and practice teams.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate across policy verticals to deliver integrated insights.
