Blauch Brothers, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician II to join our Harrisonburg-based team. This role focuses on troubleshooting and servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems, with opportunities to grow and advance within a company that values craftsmanship and continuous learning.

You’ll work on a variety of equipment from split systems to water source heat pumps, with training, mentorship, and a stable schedule offering a 4-day weekend every other week and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in residential HVAC service or maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally to job sites.
• Team players who mentor apprentices as they grow.
• Universal Refrigerant Card and Gas Fitters Card are a plus—training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide service on a range of HVAC systems, including split systems, roofs, and water source heat pumps.
• Assist in training and mentoring apprentices.
• Support installation, maintenance, and problem solving on commercial equipment.
• Maintain safety, customer service, and workmanship standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and overtime as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Resources, training, and mentorship to grow confidently in commercial work
• Split Systems
• Roof Top Units
• Mini Splits
• Furnaces
• Exhaust Systems

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in residential HVAC service or maintenance
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel locally to job sites
• Team players who take pride in their work and want to mentor apprentices as they grow
• (Universal Refrigerant Card and Gas Fitters Card are a plus—but if you don’t have them yet, we’ll help you get there.)

Schedule:

• Full-time, 4-day work week (4x10s), with a 4-day weekend every other week
• Day shift work
• On-call rotation every ~8 weeks
• Overtime available as needed
• Weekend availability when required

Pay:

• Competitive hourly rate: $28- $32 per hour, depending on experience

Selection Requirements:

• Possessing a valid, non-expired state-issued driver’s license
• Passing a driving records check (as determined by our insurer)

• Passing a drug test
• Meeting employment eligibility requirements under Form I-9 to work in the United States
