Job summary

Vigor Marine Group is seeking a Sustainment & Support Project Manager to lead planning, execution and growth of sustainment efforts across naval shipbuilding programs.

You will own cost, schedule and performance, serving as the primary customer interface to ensure fleet readiness and contract alignment. The role requires DoD familiarity, strong cost control, and collaboration across shipyards nationwide.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of program management principles including scope, schedule, cost and risk.
• Experience with IMS development and schedule risk assessment.
• Familiarity with EVM and DoD contract types; ability to prepare reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment planning, execution and growth across naval shipbuilding programs.
• Develop IMS, monitor costs, schedule variance and performance against plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for timely deliverables and risks mitigation.
• Interface with Navy program offices and customers; maintain communication at all levels.
• Support proposals, basis of estimates and capture efforts for new work.
• Ensure governance, compliance with contractual requirements and DoD standards.
