Job summary
Johnson & Johnson Robotics & Digital Solutions in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Robotics Integration Engineer (Sustaining) to support OTTAVA™ subsystems through lifecycle stages, from manufacturing to field deployment. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to mitigate issues and prevent recurrence, shaping OTTAVA™ capabilities for improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years experience or MS/PhD with 1+ year.
- Hands-on prototyping, designing, debugging, integrating electromechanical systems.
- Experience with mechanical actuators, motors, and electrical sensors.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for programming and scripting.
Responsibilities
- Apply deep mechatronics expertise to root cause robotic subsystem failures.
- Document root cause analyses and mitigations for critical issues.
- Integrate, qualify, calibrate, and document replacements to end-of-life hardware and software.
- Integrate software/firmware updates and patches.
- Participate in test infrastructure development.
- Collaborate with service, operations, manufacturing, hardware and software teams.
