Job summary

Teleflex is seeking a Product and Process Development Engineer, Sustaining, to support the Emergency Medicine product lines. The role coordinates multiple projects, develops and verifies changes to existing devices, and ensures manufacturing readiness.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory teams to meet design control requirements and maintain design history files. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, hands-on experience with SolidWorks CAD, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
SolidWorks CAD experience for device design and sustaining projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel).
Experience with molding, plastic extrusion and plastic part assembly processes preferred.
Knowledge of FDA GMP and ISO requirements for medical devices preferred.
Familiarity with ISO and ASTM testing methods preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with design verification of changes to existing medical devices.
Design, build, test, and validate assembly-stations, test-fixturing, and measurement equipment.
Prepare protocols and manage design modifications to improve manufacturability.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory to meet design control requirements.
Maintain and update Design History File documentation.
Support sustaining engineering efforts across Teleflex manufacturing sites.
