Job summary

Metric Bio is seeking a Sustaining Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on post-market activities for medical devices. You will investigate product issues, drive improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing performance and regulatory compliance.

You will work across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Regulatory Affairs to enable CAPA, root cause investigations, engineering change control and V&V activities throughout the product lifecycle.

I'm hiring a Sustaining Engineer to join the growing engineering team of an innovative medical device company developing advanced technologies that directly improve patient outcomes.

This is a hands‐on engineering role focused on supporting the continued performance, quality and regulatory compliance of commercially available medical devices. You'll work across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Regulatory Affairs to investigate product issues, implement design changes, maintain technical documentation and support verification & validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in sustaining engineering, product support or medical device development within a regulated environment who enjoys solving technical challenges, driving continuous improvement and taking ownership of post‑market engineering activities.
