Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Sustainability Data Analytics Specialist II to support our global environmental program. You will analyze carbon emissions data, generate reports, and identify opportunities to reduce our footprint across transportation and logistics activities.

You will collaborate with operations and stakeholders to ensure compliance with GHG Protocol and related standards, and help prepare annual sustainability surveys and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, engineering, sustainability or related field.
• 2+ years of sustainability/ESG experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience with carbon emission reporting frameworks and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report carbon emissions across transportation and logistics activities.
• Support design and implementation of decarbonization initiatives (renewable fuels, energy efficiency, waste reduction).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainability practices and drive engagement.
• Assist with annual sustainability surveys and sustainability report updates.
• Research emerging trends and provide actionable insights on policies by geography.

Overview

The Sustainability Data Analytics Specialist II is responsible for supporting and enhancing AIT's global sustainability program. The role will focus on analyzing and reporting carbon emission, identifying opportunities for emission reduction, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Carbon Emission Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report out data on carbon emissions across transportation and other logistics activities. Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards such as the GHG Protocol and the GLEC Framework. Develop and utilize databases and software tools to streamline data collection and reporting processes. Coordinate with operational groups to ensure data accuracy.
• Decarbonization Initiatives: Support design and implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing our AIT's environmental footprint. This includes projects related to renewable fuels, renewable energy, energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate internally and externally to promote sustainability practices and drive engagement in sustainability initiatives.
• Reporting and Communications: Assist with annual sustainability surveys and annual sustainability report.
• Research and analysis: Conduct research on emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements. Provide insights and recommendations. Provide updates on applicable policies by geographies.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Data Science, Engineering, Sustainability or other related field Required

Experience Qualifications

• 2+ years Business related sustainability or ESG education or experience Required

Skills and Abilities

• Experience with ESG/sustainability in corporate setting
• Experience preferred with carbon emission reporting software or frameworks (GLEC framework, GHG protocol, EcoTransIT, Lune or similar)
• Experience preferred with data analytics or data visualization software (Excel, SQL, PowerBI)
• Must be detail oriented as well as proactive and self-motivated
• Passion for sustainability and decarbonization
