Crystal Mountain is seeking a Waste & Recycling Attendant to monitor waste, compost, and recycling across the resort. The role keeps areas clean, ensures safe disposal, and supports environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities include maintaining bins, processing materials, coordinating hauls, and recording data. Requires high school diploma and willingness to work outdoors, including evenings and weekends, with some driving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Requires attention to detail and ability to work both indoors and outdoors with seasonal shifts.
• Comfortable interacting with guests in highly visible resort settings.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and organize daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior waste and recycling bins on property.
• Process waste/compost/recycling to reduce ecological footprint and maximize efficiency.
• Transport recycling and compostable material.
• Sort paper, plastic, glass, metal, electronic waste, universal waste.
• Bale cardboard and coordinate delivery of cardboard into market.
• Coordinate recycling bin and waste pick-ups with waste hauler.
• Keep records of materials disposed of and recycled; record data in electronic formats.
• Communicate issues to manager and suggest improvements to streamline systems.
