Job summary

ICF is hiring a Transportation Analyst to support sustainable transportation planning and policy analysis for federal, state, and local clients. You will work on projects related to TSMO, ITS, data platforms, and transportation engineering, collaborating with project managers and technical specialists.

The role emphasizes strong written and verbal communication, quantitative analysis, and the ability to work in a team environment with multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 1+ year of professional experience supporting transportation planning, transportation engineering, mobility, infrastructure, or transportation research projects.
• Experience with word processing, presentation, virtual meeting software, and web applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, QGIS or ArcGIS).
• US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Support TSMO and ITS planning, strategy, technology assessment, and program implementation activities for state and federal transportation clients.
• Analyze emerging transportation technologies and operational concepts, including connected and automated vehicles, integrated corridor management, data platforms, traffic management systems, and digital modernization initiatives.
• Contribute to high-quality project delivery across multiple assignments while collaborating effectively with senior leaders, peers, and technical specialists.
