Job summary

Huhtamaki is seeking a maintenance technician to support our manufacturing operations. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain inventory of parts and tools.

The role requires reading and applying safety policies, working in a manufacturing environment, and operating a forklift with annual certification. A strong safety mindset and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Three years of experience with industrial troubleshooting, programming, and repair.
• Ability to read, learn, understand and apply policies and procedures including safety.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety and effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Observe mechanical devices in operation to locate problems.
• Adjust or replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, measuring tools, and hand/power tools.
• Control downtime by following preventative maintenance techniques and reporting findings.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories and anticipate needed materials.
