Job summary

Huhtamaki is seeking a maintenance technician in Indiana to diagnose and repair production machinery, conveyors, hydraulics, and related components to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

You will inspect equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and follow blueprints and service manuals. The role may involve welding and pipe work, with a focus on continuous improvement and safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and solve mechanical problems as they arise.
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment such as production machines, conveyor systems, hydraulics, power transmissions and all mechanical equipment.
• Visually inspect and perform preventative maintenance to machines and equipment.
• Perform welding tasks related to repairing equipment/machinery.
• Follow blueprints, diagrams and service manuals to repair broken parts, realign and adjust mechanical components and to dismantle machines to gain access to the problem areas.
• Work on air and hydraulic pipes on the machines by measuring, cutting, threading and installing new pipe.
• Actively support and participate in the continuous improvement process.
• All other duties as signed by supervisor.
