Job summary

Huhtamaki in Los Angeles area seeks a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain production machinery, execute preventive maintenance and support CI efforts. You will work on the shop floor, collaborate with maintenance and operations teams, and ensure GMP and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of industrial mechanical experience, tooling, welding capability, and the ability to read blueprints. The role requires weekend overtime as needed and a safety‑minded, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Certification in hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems desired.
• High School diploma desired.
• Must supply toolbox with required tools.

Responsibilities

• Work safely following LOTO, GMP policies and procedures.
• Perform PM, TPM and CI tasks in Maintenance and Operations.
• Monitor and coordinate maintenance of machinery.
• Install, upgrade, repair and remove machinery and equipment.
• Perform daily housekeeping and inspections.
• Use CMMS for work orders and parts issuing.
• Participate in parts inventory and cycle counts.
• Weld and fabricate plant parts as needed.
• Ensure environmental compliance tasks as appropriate.
