Job summary

SOM in San Francisco seeks an Architect with at least 4 years of professional experience to lead portions of complex projects, deliver diagrams, 3D models, drawings, and renderings, and coordinate with consultants and clients. You will contribute to interdisciplinary analysis and innovative design within a collaborative studio environment.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and rendering software is essential, as is strong communication.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture completed.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and rendering software.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Actively leads distinct portions of a project with periodic supervision by Project Leadership.
• Produces, coordinates and/or oversees diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings and animations.
• Effectively communicates with project teams, consultants and clients in writing, orally and visually.
• Creates and innovates with strong conceptual design ability across project areas.
• Collaborates at project, consultant and client levels, contributing to the studio and office.
• Demonstrates understanding of materials, systems, codes and construction techniques.
