Job summary

Sanofi in Framingham, MA seeks a Sustainability Specialist VIE within Manufacturing & Supply to advance the Planet Care roadmap and the company’s net‑zero ambition by 2045. You will track energy, water and carbon performance, support ISO 50001 readiness, and help develop energy and water projects while engaging with RCE/RCT governance, HSE reporting, and finance stakeholders.

You’ll work under the Sustainability Lead, gain hands‑on project experience across the lifecycle, and use reporting tools

Qualifications

  • At least 1-year full-time experience in environmental management or sustainability reporting.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Good communication and presenting skills.
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability.
  • Master’s Degree in the field related to the position.

  • Direct enabler of Sanofi's Planet Care roadmap and global net-zero by 2045.
  • Supports energy, water and carbon reduction initiatives.

About the job

As Sustainability Specialist VIE as part of our M&S team, you’ll be a direct enabler of Sanofi's Planet Care roadmap and our global commitment to net zero emissions by 2045. By supporting energy, water, and carbon reduction initiatives, the position strengthens critical capabilities in ESG integration, utility performance management, and sustainability reporting — closing gaps that are essential to meeting site-level and corporate environmental targets. Beyond its operational value, this role is designed as a structured development opportunity for the candidate. Working under the mentorship of the Sustainability Lead, the VIE will gain hands‑on, project-based experience across the full sustainability lifecycle: tracking and analyzing utility consumption data, supporting ISO 50001 audit readiness, contributing to energy and water project development, and engaging directly with RCE/RCT governance meetings, HSE reporting, utility vendors, and finance stakeholders. Main responsibilities

About you

Experience:

  • At least 1-year full-time experience working in environmental management, sustainability reporting and/ or stakeholder engagement.

Soft and technical skills:

  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Good communication and presenting skills.
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability.

Education:

  • Master’s Degree in the field related to the position.

Languages:

  • Advanced knowledge of English.
