Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Supervisor of Programs & Events Eco Rep to lead student engagement initiatives within the Office of Sustainability. You will mentor Eco Reps during events, coordinate programs, and help implement educational activities on campus.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership, with 10–20 hours weekly and an hourly pay range of $13.00–$15.00. Occasional evenings and weekends are expected to support events and programs.

Qualifications

• Current SNHU student in good academic standing.
• Interest in sustainability, leadership, community engagement, or event planning.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while also leading and collaborating with a team.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to support colleagues attending or working at other events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing sustainability programs, events, and campaigns.
• Provide peer leadership and mentorship to Eco Reps and student volunteers.
• Support event logistics, scheduling, staffing, setup, facilitation, and breakdown.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and supporting student employees.
• Coordinate communication and task delegation among Eco Rep team members.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure completion of assigned responsibilities.
• Facilitate educational programs, workshops, outreach activities, and campus engagement events.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support sustainability initiatives.
• Collect event participation data, feedback, and impact metrics.
• Assist with assessing program effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as a representative of the Office of Sustainability at campus events and meetings.
