Meta is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager to join the Sustainability Team focused on the Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) program. Our team enables Meta to operate and grow sustainably and responsibly. The Responsible Supply Chain program helps build safe and resilient communities in our global supply chain by protecting and empowering the lives of workers and the environment. This position will focus on implementing and managing responsible supply chain activities and optimizing management systems.
We are looking for experienced candidates with supply chain social and environmental responsibility experience in technology and electronics supply chains, as well as a demonstrated background in program management and supplier engagement. Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental sustainability, business management, or a related field 8+ years of experience in social compliance or supply chain labor, human rights, and health & safety Familiarity with the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct Experience in project management with experience self-managing complex program delivery in a matrixed environment Experience in developing management systems, including standard operating procedures Advanced communication skills, including experience in conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn A strong sense of diplomacy Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, including when managing competing priorities and time-sensitive deliverables Willingness to travel (10%) Experience in electronics and technology sector Advanced degree in sustainability, supply chain, science, engineering, or a related technical field Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
