Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking an intern to lead data collection, validation, and reporting for sustainability metrics across operations. You will map material flows, identify energy reduction opportunities, and support external communications on sustainability.

Strong presentation skills and a proactive, environmentally minded attitude are essential. Pay is based on factors including experience and location; typical ranges are provided to guide compensation expectations.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Familiarity with life cycle assessments, green building frameworks (LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, Passive House, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for environmental stewardship

Responsibilities

  • Lead data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting for sustainability metrics (e.g. GHG emissions, energy use, waste, water)
  • Map and analyze material flows across operations
  • Identify high-impact opportunities for material or energy reduction
  • Support external-facing documentation and communications about sustainability
  • Benchmark industry best practices and emerging trends in sustainability
  • Prepare internal reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders

COMPENSATION

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $22-$27.

PAY RANGE: $19.90 - $28.80

PROFIT SHARING

In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
