Job summary

Samsonite is seeking a Sustainability Intern (Finance) to assist in calculating a large global enterprise's carbon footprint and support ESG reporting to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange through February 2026.

You will gather and enter data, download utility data from SAP and Docuware, and help consolidate information for GHG footprint calculations across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student with 2–4 years of study in business, economics, environmental studies, or related field.
  • Comfortable with data management, organization, and analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks; self-starter.
  • Experience with MS Office; Excel file management.

Responsibilities

  • Access and download utility data from SAP and Docuware for facilities across geographies.
  • Organize data in folders and prepare ad hoc data requests.
  • Extract and consolidate utility data for Samsonite's GHG footprint calculation.

Reporting to the Sustainability Associate Manager, you will assist in calculating a large global enterprise's carbon footprint. You'll provide data gathering and data entry support for Samsonite's carbon footprint measurement and ESG reporting to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange into February 2026.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate with 2-4 years of study. Majors - Business, Economics, Environmental Studies and/or related field preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable working with data (data management, organization, analysis)
  • Ability to navigate a variety of online and offline sources of data
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize tasks; persistent and self-starter
  • Experience with MS Office, managing and organizing Excel files
  • Foreign language proficiency a plus
