Job summary

Andersen Corporation, headquartered in Bayport, Minnesota, invites a student to join our sustainability team for the summer. This internship provides hands-on experience in sustainability within a corporate setting and supports our product pillar.

Responsibilities include leading data collection, validation, and reporting for sustainability metrics, mapping material flows, and identifying energy reduction opportunities. Interns will prepare internal reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Familiarity with life cycle assessments, green building frameworks (e.g. LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, Passive House, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proactive mindset with a passion for environmental stewardship

COMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $22-$27.

PAY RANGE:

$19.90 - $28.80

PROFIT SHARING:

In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
