The Virginia Tech Office of Outreach and International Affairs (OIA) is seeking a qualified Farm Manager to oversee operational, research-coordination, and partnership activities at the Catawba Sustainability Center, a living laboratory for sustainable land management used for graduate and undergraduate learning.

The successful candidate will manage farm operations, collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders, and support extension and research initiatives in a dynamic university

Qualifications

• Two year college degree or related extensive experience in crop sciences, farm management, and field research procedures.
• Demonstrated experience managing farm or ranch operations (livestock, pasture, equipment).
• Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders or departments.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
