Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Analyst for Worldwide Grocery Sustainability to measure, analyze and deliver sustainability initiatives across its grocery business. You will translate complex data into actionable insights guiding investments and operations, spanning climate, waste, packaging, and social responsibility.

The role collaborates across BI Engineering, sustainability specialists, and central Amazon teams to maintain data infrastructure and drive reporting for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to generate business insights.
• Experience with Excel, including macros, INDEX functions, conditional lists, arrays, pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with SQL or ETL.
• Experience coordinating between technical teams, peers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the integrity and rigor of sustainability data used for reporting and decision-making.
• Model financial and plastic-reduction impacts of sustainable packaging options.
• Forecast carbon, waste and packaging pathways through 2030.
• Analyze food donation volumes and diversion rates.
• Conduct feasibility analyses and business cases for sustainability programmes.
• Perform ad-hoc analytical deep dives.
