Job summary

PSG Global Solutions seeks a Sustainability Analyst to support GHG accounting and reporting, sustainable packaging, and event sustainability initiatives in Santa Monica. This role combines sustainability expertise with hands-on data collection, analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

The 1-year contract offers hybrid work—4 days per week in the Santa Monica office, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to be considered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sustainability or carbon accounting.
• Strong understanding of GHG Protocol (Scopes 1-3).
• Excel and data analysis skills for data handling.
• Knowledge of EPR or environmental regs preferred.
• Experience with event sustainability or media production a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with sustainability reporting platforms like Metrio is a plus.
• SQL or Python experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support GHG accounting and carbon footprint reporting for Scope 1-3.
• Support sustainable packaging, EPR data validation, registrations, regulatory reporting, and fee calculations.
• Monitor packaging regulations and research alternatives.
• Support sustainability initiatives for events and media productions, incl. energy, waste, circular materials, logistics, fan travel.
• Track and summarize sustainability KPIs such as waste diversion and emissions per attendee.
• Collaborate with Data, IT, event, and production teams to improve data quality, reporting processes, and sustainability initiatives.

About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

• SupportGHG accounting and carbon footprint reporting, including data collection,validation, aggregation, and reporting for Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3emissions.
• Supportsustainable packaging and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)requirements, including packaging data validation, registrations,regulatory reporting, and fee calculations.
• Monitorapplicable packaging regulations and research sustainable packagingalternatives.
• Supportsustainability initiatives for events and media productions, includingenergy efficiency, waste diversion, circular materials, logistics, and fantravel.
• Trackand summarize sustainability KPIs, including waste diversion rates andemissions per attendee.
• Workwith Data, IT, event, and production teams to improve data quality,reporting processes, and sustainability initiatives.

• 2+years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, carbonaccounting, or a related field.
• Strongunderstanding of GHG accounting and the GHG Protocol, including Scope 1,2, and 3.
• StrongExcel and data analysis skills with the ability to collect, validate,summarize, and present data.
• Workingknowledge of EPR, sustainable packaging, or environmental regulations ispreferred.
• Experiencewith event sustainability, food & beverage, CPG, or media productionis a plus.
• Strongattention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to managereporting deadlines.
• Experiencewith sustainability reporting platforms such as Metrio is a plus, but notrequired.
• SQL orPython experience is helpful but not required.
