Prime Data Centers in Denver is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to coordinate the execution of our sustainability requirements across projects, including data collection and progress tracking. You will work with Procurement, Construction, and Design & Engineering to integrate sustainability into contracts and designs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong Excel/Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

About the role

Prime’s Sustainability Analyst will play an important role in advancing sustainability at Prime. This person will be primarily responsible for coordinating execution of our sustainability requirements and targets at our projects, including collecting and organizing data, tracking and encouraging progress of multiple commitments, and collaborating with internal and external partners. Additional responsibilities include stakeholder benchmarking and industry research. The successful candidate will successfully manage multiple workstreams concurrently, enjoy both quantitative and qualitative work, and thrive on working collaboratively.

What you'll do

• Oversee execution of Prime's sustainability commitments into procurement, construction, and design. Commitments include embodied carbon targets, construction waste diversion, sustainable landscaping, third-party certifications, and using low global warming potential refrigerants.
• Work with external partners including general contractors, design firms, and equipment providers to deliver on sustainability objectives.
• Partner with internal teams including Procurement, Construction, and Design & Engineering to collaborate on integrating sustainability into how Prime does business, including contract and design documents.
• Collect and organize data from individual data center projects. Perform quality control to prepare data for internal and external reporting.
• Develop and maintain tracking systems to monitor progress of commitments across Prime's portfolio.
• Perform benchmarking to understand key stakeholder groups' sustainability priorities and performance.
• Conduct research on issues including sustainability frameworks and certifications.

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level role: 1-2 years of relevant experience, which may include coursework, internships, and volunteer work. Candidates early in their careers who can demonstrate the skills, aptitude, and a track record showing their passion for sustainability are encouraged to apply, even without prior full-time experience as a sustainability analyst
• Bachelor's degree; a background in environmental studies, policy, science, or sustainability is ideal, but candidates with other degrees are strongly encouraged to apply
• Highly organized and capable of proactively managing multiple workstreams concurrently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries to advance objectives
• Proven results-driven approach with attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Passion for sustainability, with a proactive mindset in sharing ideas and contributing to innovation

Nice to Have

Knowledge of sustainable operations and green building practices and certifications Prior experience or coursework in construction or real estate; prior data center experience is not required

Compensation

• Comp - $70,000 - $90,000 and performance bonus program
• 401k fully vested upon enrollment, up to a 4% employer match
• 100% employee premiums paid by employer for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability
