Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a Suspension Technician to support race operations. You will work with SHOWA suspension systems on motorcycles, performing maintenance, testing and data reporting.

The role requires at least 3 years of suspension or chassis experience, willingness to travel, and a team-oriented approach to collaborate with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience with motocross preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and travel.

Job Description:

Astemo, a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry, has an immediate opening for a Suspension Technician in our Race Support Division located in Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will provide technical support on SHOWA suspension. (motorcycle motocross racing & production motorcycle test)
• Maintaining suspension quality (i.e. periodic maintenance).
• Testing and race reporting and disseminating data to Astemo management.
• Suspension parts management for race service.
• This individual will also be researching, testing and analyzing new suspension valving, component, & design specifications.
• Safety management for performing work.
• Suspension setup on racetracks and test tracks with customers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience with suspension or chassis work, or dealership customer service support. Experience with Motorcross is preferred Ability to effectively present information to all levels within the company. Willingness to work as a team with all partners, both internal and external to the company. Willing to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends, evenings and travel.
