Job summary

RANDYS Worldwide in Riverside, California is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design aftermarket suspension, steering, and off-road products from concept through production. You will work with an in-house team to prototype, test, and validate components in SOLIDWORKS, and develop documentation for manufacturing.

You will apply GD&T standards, manage BOMs, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver robust, manufacturable designs and strategies for cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with design experience in product development.
• Advanced proficiency in SOLIDWORKS including 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and ANSI drafting standards.
• Solid understanding of materials, heat treatment, metal fabrication, welding, and manufacturing design.
• Experience with automotive hand tools and precision measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop products from concept to production with detailed 3D models and toleranced drawings in SOLIDWORKS.
• Perform stress analysis using SOLIDWORKS Simulation to validate designs.
• Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Install, test, and validate prototypes and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
