Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is seeking team members to join our sushi prep team at our Fayetteville, NY location. You will help prepare fresh, high-quality sushi rolls and assist customers with made-to-order requests in a fast-paced retail kitchen.

You will work alongside experienced sushi chefs, learning traditional techniques and ensuring timely preparation while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. This role offers a morning to evening schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice.
• Assist in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
