Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled Sushi Cook to join our growing kitchen team in Tampa. You will craft nigiri with care, maintain quality, and work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications include 2+ years in kitchen prep and line cook roles, knife skills, food cost awareness, and strong communication with kitchen staff. Must be available nights, weekends and holidays. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

The Role:

You are a talented, passionate and creative Sushi Cook with the fire inside to delicately slice up any fish that swims your way. Every ounce of love goes into each piece of nigiri you prepare, ultimately creating a party for taste buds.

Requirements for Success:

• A minimum 2 years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
• Basic food cost knowledge
• Understanding and knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand basic cooking directions.
