Job summary

Hy-Vee’s Hy-Chi Sushi Clerk role in Council Bluffs is a part-time, fast-paced position focused on customer service, fresh product prep, and department maintenance. You’ll greet customers, take orders by phone or at the counter, and help locate items while maintaining high food-safety standards.

Night and weekend shifts are required. You’ll support team members, follow sanitation rules, and keep the department stocked and organized for a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• Six months or more of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders at the counter and over the phone.
• Assist customers in finding products and carrying heavy purchases.
• Review daily orders and monitor product freshness, appearance, and supply levels.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product; label and date items.
• Order product and supplies as necessary.
• Work with teammates to ensure a positive customer experience.
