HIRING IMMEDIATELY: We are an esteemed Asian & Japanese Fusion restaurant nestled in the vibrant ambiance of Chania, Crete, offering an exquisite dining experience. We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in sushi preparation, encompassing filleting skills, creating rolls, ceviche, carpaccio, and other sushi varieties.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and consistency in food preparation.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and enhance our menu offerings.
  • Embrace training to align with the company's exceptional culinary standards.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Proficiency in sushi-making techniques and presentation.
  • Ability to excel in a high-pressure, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new techniques as per company standards.
  • Asian cuisine knowledge is a plus but not necessary
  • EU passport or permanent EU residence permit is mandatory.
  • Competitive salary of 2,500 EUR/Net per month + plus daily tips.
  • Free accommodation provided: shared apartment with a private room located 10 minutes from the restaurant.
  • Work schedule: 6 days a week with 1 day off.
