Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Sushi Chef to lead our sushi program, prepare fresh sushi for packaged and made-to-order orders, and train the Sushi Clerk. You will ensure quality, freshness, and presentation meet Hy‑Vee standards while delivering excellent service.
You will manage ordering, scheduling, and merchandising for sushi, uphold sanitation, and stay current on meal trends. A high school diploma and food safety certifications are required, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Sushi Clerk
This is a fast‑paced role with significant activity throughout your shift. You may encounter continuous exposure to raw fish, flour, dust, noise, and temperature extremes, with occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals or solvents. Safety is always a priority, and training is provided to help ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
