Job summary

Firefly Children & Family Alliance is seeking a Survivor Advocate to join its Survivor Services team in Indiana. You will provide direct advocacy to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking, both in person and through other communication channels, and work to promote safety and healing.

You will also develop community education presentations and maintain strict confidentiality while coordinating with local resources to support survivors and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Social Work or related field with supervised practicum experience.
• Clear, effective communications skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct advocacy services to survivors in person and via other channels.
• Develop safety plans, assess needs, and connect clients with resources.
• Maintain confidential case records and document work hours per agency standards.
