Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineers to support our Survivability organization. This on-site role is located at El Segundo, CA, and may be filled as Associate or full Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer.

Responsibilities include system analysis, modeling, and simulations to support development and R&D, with opportunities to evaluate new requirements and technologies. U.S. citizenship and TS/SAP clearances are required to start.

Qualifications

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027
• Be majoring in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or other related STEM degree program
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (US citizenship is a prerequisite) as well as Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable period of time
• Final approved U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (US citizenship is a prerequisite) as well as Special Access Program clearance are required to start

• Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis to support program development, execution, and related research and development projects
• Support lead in developing or assessing new requirements and evaluate advanced air vehicle concepts and technologies
• Support mission engineering activities to ensure performance capabilities of new systems and architectures are traded against cost and mission requirements; develop mission relevant scenarios; assess operational effectiveness of existing and emerging systems and capabilities in the threat environment
• Communicate across the engineering disciplines and technology areas to integrate capabilities
