Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Florida is seeking a Survivability Engineer to join the Aeronautics Systems team. You will work on stealth-related systems, performing design integration, modeling, testing, and collaboration across IPTs to reduce detectability and enhance survivability.

Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance (PAR/SAP processes), travel up to 10% may be required. Primary salary range is $108,200–$162,400 with bonuses and benefits; a challenging mission-driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2 years of related engineering experience, or a Master’s with 0 years.
• Principal level: Bachelor’s with 5 years, Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 0 years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; PAR/SAP will be started for selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize stealth-oriented designs within an IPT environment.
• Support modeling, testing, and verification of complex classified targets.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to balance stealth goals with other requirements.
