Job summary

William Charles Construction is seeking a Surveyor for project work in Terre Haute, IN. Under the supervision of the Party Chief, you will determine conformance to specifications and perform inspections and layout for various activities.

The role requires experience with surveying, as-built documentation, and Trimble GPS equipment. You will operate on large industrial projects, support safety policies, and contribute to project documentation and staking efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience producing accurate as-built documentation.
• Strong background in construction surveying and layout verification.
• Proficiency with Trimble GPS surveying equipment (required).

Responsibilities

• Record survey results: shape, contour, elevation, location, and dimensions.
• Mark points of measurement with elevation and identifying marks.
• Measure distances between survey points with tapes or chains.
• Assist in setting elevations and staking for maps and construction.
• Load/unload equipment and prepare for daily jobs.
