Job summary

HRK Engineering & Field Services in Oregon is seeking a Surveyor-in-Training (SIT/LSIT) who is working toward Licensed Surveyor certification. This full-time role offers hands-on experience in both office and field settings, with mentorship to advance toward licensure.

You will assist with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, perform field data collection, support survey crews, and prepare deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Certification or progress toward SIT/LSIT, pursuing Oregon licensure.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys in both office and field settings
• Collect field data, perform staking, and support survey crews onsite
• Process survey data and prepare deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D in the office
• Work closely with licensed professionals to develop technical and field skills
• Maintain accurate records, calculations, and documentation
