Job summary

EliteHire in Washington is seeking a Surveyor Assistant to support licensed surveyors in fieldwork and data collection for diverse projects. You will set up equipment, take measurements, perform basic calculations, and input data into software while maintaining instruments and supporting on-site surveys.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in surveying is a plus.
• Proven experience as a surveying assistant or similar role.
• Familiarity with surveying tools such as GPS and total stations.
• Strong math skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist surveyors with setting up equipment, taking measurements, and recording data.
• Perform basic calculations and input data into computer software.
