Job description

Mainly survey fieldwork associated with the preparation of engineering, construction, topographic, boundary and other engineering surveys.

Essential Functions:

• Set up and operate modern survey equipment used in performing field survey work.
• Record instrument readings using standard survey procedures.
• Calculate distances, locations and angles and related measurements using standard formulas and methods.
• Maintain field notes and draw diagrams for surveyor's review.
• Operate and stock survey vehicles and maintain survey equipment.
• Ability to clear brush from survey path and transport equipment and instruments in the field.
