Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. in the Newark, DE area is seeking a Surveyor with strong utility locating experience to join our growing engineering and surveying team on diverse infrastructure and land development projects.

You will perform boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, conduct utility locating and mapping using SUE practices, operate GPS and total stations, and prepare field notes and data for CAD processing while coordinating with engineers, contractors, and project

Qualifications

• 3+ years of surveying experience with utility locating exposure.
• Knowledge of SUE designations (Quality Levels A-D preferred).
• Experience with survey equipment and data collection software.
• Ability to read plans and interpret utility records.
• Strong attention to detail and field-to-finish understanding.
• CST or LSIT is a plus.

• Operate GPS, total stations, and utility locating equipment (GPR, electromagnetic tools, etc.)
• Prepare accurate field notes, sketches, and data for CAD processing
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project standards

What We’re Looking For:
