Alaska Aggregate Products LLC. is seeking a Surveyor to measure and map the earth's surface for construction, mining, or other projects across Alaska.

You will determine precise location, elevations, lines, areas, and contours under supervision, keep accurate notes, and manage surveying equipment in the field. Responsibilities include staking out features, gathering quantities, and coordinating with the project manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent, drivers license, and 2+ years surveying experience.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying; knowledge of drone surveying.

Summary

The Surveyor is responsible for surveying the earth's surface to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mining or other purposes under the direction of the Senior Projects Manager and designated engineering staff. They are responsible for measurement, quantification, and record keeping of quantities for payment. Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe work performed. Surveyors are responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and securing his/her Surveying Equipment .

Education and/or Experience
