Job Summary

Join our client’s dynamic estimating and surveying team as a Survey Technician. This role involves supporting various surveying activities and ensuring accurate data collection and analysis on-site. The position offers a mix of office-based and fieldwork, requiring frequent travel to project sites across the U.S.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct on-site surveys and data collection for golf course construction projects
  • Operate Trimble GPS systems (R10 with TSC7 – training provided)
  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson to prepare and analyze survey data (training provided)
  • Analyze and interpret survey data to support project planning and execution
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate project assessments
  • Maintain detailed records of survey data and project progress
  • Travel extensively to various project sites across the U.S.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson for data analysis and project planning
  • Trimble GPS systems experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members

Education / Professional Experience

  • Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar education background
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in surveying or a related field
  • Experience in construction or golf course projects is a plus

Licenses / Certifications

  • AutoCAD training or knowledge is preferred

Additional Information

  • Candidates must provide their own vehicle for travel to project sites.
