Job summary

WSP is seeking a Survey Technician to join our Survey Geomatics team in Valhalla, NY (and work with an additional Lawrenceville, NJ office). The role focuses on office production, processing survey data, and preparing deliverables under supervision.

You may assist field staff and collaborate across multiple surveying projects in diverse sectors. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 5+ years in land surveying or 3+ years with a related degree, and proficiency with drafting/survey

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; higher education in surveying preferred.
5+ years surveying or 3+ years with related degree; valid driver's license.
Experience with drafting and survey data processing software.
Willingness to learn and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Produce survey plans and deliverables under management guidance.
Prepare setup files for field crews and review survey data.
Perform boundary placement determinations and initial adjustments for review.
Use drafting and data processing software daily and interact with clients as needed.
Represent WSP professionally in emails, calls, and meetings.
