Job summary

WSP is seeking an Experienced Survey Technician in Lawrenceville, NJ. Join our Survey Geomatics team and contribute to a wide range of internal and external projects, from office production to field coordination.

You will produce survey plans, process data, and prepare setup files for field crews while collaborating with project teams. A foundational background in land surveying with strong software skills and a commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; higher education in land surveying preferred.
7+ years of surveying/geospatial experience or 5+ years with a related degree.
Experience with boundary research, title reviews, records compilation, and initial boundary determinations.
Experience in reviewing survey data and processing survey control.
Experience in preparing legal descriptions.
Willingness to learn and valid state driver’s license; pass MV screening.
Experience adhering to safety policies and ability to work beyond typical hours.

Responsibilities

Produce survey plans and deliverables for various projects.
Prepare setup files for field crews and process survey data.
Review and adjust survey control prior to review by management.
Use drafting and data processing software daily.
Interact with clients via email, phone, or meetings and represent WSP professionally.
May guide field staff and support multiple project teams from Lawrenceville office.
